Naad — the primordial sound — is the seed of all music. At Naad Music School we honour that seed. Nestled at Sant Sewa Ashram beside the sacred Ganges in Rishikesh, our school welcomes seekers from every corner of the world to learn Indian classical music in the ancient guru–shishya tradition.
What began as intimate one-to-one lessons under the Himalayan sky has grown into a warm international community of tabla players, flutists, vocalists, kirtan singers and sound healers — each learning at their own pace, guided by devoted teachers.
See Our CoursesEvery lesson blends technique with meditation, breath and mantra — music as sadhana.
All classes are personal. Your teacher listens, adjusts and walks with you.

The Ganges, the mountains, the temples — the environment itself becomes your teacher.
Our founder-teacher is a lifelong disciple of the classical Indian tradition — a percussionist, kirtan singer and Naad Yoga practitioner who has lived and taught in Rishikesh for over two decades.
Alongside him, a small circle of dedicated musicians teach bansuri, vocal, harmonium and sound healing — all trained in the same lineage of patience, precision and devotion.
